Internal Affairs Report
Lieutenant Duff, OIC of Internal Affairs, provided a report and a discussion. His opening remarks where around an officer involved with a shooting incident that occurred at the Academy. Details are in the news.
He talked about how seven cases were sent to the Chief of Police for discipline.
During the month of February, the following cases were closed:

An overview of “I” cases that are also part of press releases. Lt. Duff discussed the NHPD policy and procedures.
He announced the monitoring of “I” cases that are under review. He spoke about the presentation of General Orders by Captain Peterson for sign-off by the appropriate parties.
He announced two newly-assigned persons to Internal Affairs, which has the current staffing at four Detectives, one Sergeant, one Lieutenant and one Administrative person. Lt. Duff provided a numerical rank breakdown and provided open discussion, entertaining questions and answers.
There was a question regarding the distribution of updated contact list and our newest members.
